What happens when you visit

This is a static website. To deliver the pages to you, our hosting provider (Render Services, Inc.) necessarily processes technical connection data, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and your browser type, and may keep it briefly in server logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to identify or track visitors. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Render's privacy policy.

Fonts, images and videos are served from this website itself. Unless you accept external content (see below), your browser is not connected to Google Fonts or other third-party services when you load our pages.

External content – only with your consent

On your first visit we ask whether you want to see content from these third-party services. If you click “Reject”, nothing is loaded from them.

  • Google Calendar (Google Ireland Ltd.) shows our events calendar. Google receives your IP address and browser data and may read or set cookies.Google's privacy policy.
  • Curator.io shows our latest Instagram posts. Curator, its image servers and Meta (Facebook), whose script Curator loads, receive your IP address and browser data and may set cookies. Curator's privacy policy, Meta's privacy policy.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules). These providers may process data outside the EU. Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (this is strictly necessary and not a cookie), so we don't ask again on every page. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Links to other websites

Some links take you to other services, for example “Book Now” (the Amenitiz booking engine). Once you follow such a link, that website's privacy policy applies. Phone and email links open your own phone or email app.

If you contact us

If you email or call us, we use the information you give us only to reply to you, and we do not keep it for longer than needed for that purpose.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email us. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD),www.cnpd.pt.
